The AutoXtreme Angles Morts sticker for trucks sits permanently and stays unobtrusive until it matters. The retroreflective film bounces light back, so the marking stays visible at night as well. Flat fitting directly on the bodywork, no frame, no protrusions, fully compliant with article R.313-32-1 of the French highway code.
When are you legally required to use this product?
France
Since 1 January 2021 the Angles Morts marking has been required throughout France on all trucks with a maximum permitted mass above 3,500 kg. This applies to French and foreign vehicles alike. At least 3 markings are needed per vehicle: on both sides within 1 metre of the front, and at the rear on the right-hand side. A truck with a semi-trailer needs at most 6 markings. Fitting height: at least 90 cm and at most 150 cm above the ground. Driving without valid marking carries a fine of 90 euros minimum up to 750 euros maximum.
Visibility
The law requires a marking, but sets no requirement for retroreflection. A non-reflective sticker is barely visible during a night-time check or in poor conditions. The AutoXtreme marking uses retroreflective film and meets the highest visibility requirements. TÜV SÜD certified and E8 approved.
The sticker version suits trucks where a permanent flat fitting is wanted. Note: removal after curing can affect the paint surface. For drivers who want to be able to move the marking, the magnetic version is the better choice.
