Which jumpstarter suits your vehicle?
Enter the CCA value of your battery for the most accurate recommendation. Not on the label? Use Ah or engine displacement instead.

Answer a few quick questions and we'll give you a recommendation right away.
About the engine displacement method: the "suitable up to" values of our jumpstarters are theoretical maximum values. The larger the engine, the heavier the battery that is often already fitted. A large pick-up with a 5.5-litre petrol engine quickly has a battery that is too heavy for the Boost Basic, even if that number is on the packaging. If in doubt, choose the model with extra margin.
This advice is a guideline based on the information you have filled in. The label on your battery is always the surest source, and you can always email us at info@autoxtreme.nl.
Why we choose CCA
In the jumpstarter market you often see large peak current figures: 3000A, 4000A, sometimes even higher. Impressive on paper, but these figures say little about what a jumpstarter can actually do when it matters.
That is why we deliberately choose CCA. It is the same value that is on your car's battery, so you are comparing like for like. What is stated on our jumpstarter is what you get. No inflated figures, no surprises.
What determines how much CCA you need?
The CCA value of your battery is your starting point. In practice, a few things come into play that make you want just a little extra margin.
Cold and frost
At temperatures below freezing, a battery can lose up to 60% of its power. Our jumpstarters work in the cold too, but also deliver slightly less in frost than on a warm day. Do you often park outside in winter? Then a little extra CCA margin is welcome.
Age and condition of your battery
A five-year-old battery performs differently from a new one, even if the CCA number on the label is the same. The older or weaker the battery, the more starting current is needed in practice.
Deep discharge
Did you accidentally leave the lights on, or has the car been standing still for a few weeks? Then your battery is more drained than normal. Extra power from the jumpstarter is helpful in that case.
Frequent short trips
With many short trips, your battery never fully charges. This causes it to weaken faster than its calendar age would suggest.
Our CCA rating is based on normal conditions. Do you recognise yourself in one of these situations? Then we recommend a jumpstarter with a little more CCA. Not because the smaller model cannot handle it, but so that you can be sure of starting even in a more demanding situation.
