The AutoXtreme Angles Morts sticker for buses and campers sits permanently and stays unobtrusive until it matters. The retroreflective film bounces light straight back to its source, which keeps the marking clearly visible at night and in bad weather, to other road users and to enforcement. That is what most stickers on the market do not offer. Flat fitting directly on the bodywork, no frame, no protrusions, and fully compliant with French law.
When are you legally required to use this product?
France
France requires the Angles Morts marking on all buses, coaches and campers on French public roads. The marking must be fitted on both sides of the vehicle, no higher than 150 cm and no lower than 90 cm above the ground, on the side at least 100 cm from the front, and at the rear on the right-hand side. The requirement applies to French and foreign vehicles alike. If you are checked without valid and visible marking, you risk an on-the-spot fine.
Visibility
The law requires a marking, but not that it is reflective. In practice a non-reflective sticker means your marking is barely visible during a night-time check or in poor conditions.
