The AutoXtreme Angles Morts marking for buses and campers is reflective. Most competitors do not offer that. A plain sticker does the job in daylight, but is barely visible in the dark and in poor conditions. The retroreflective film bounces light straight back, so the marking stays visible at night to other road users and to enforcement. Sturdy aluminium frame, supplied complete with mounting hardware, and compliant with French law.
When are you legally required to use this product?
France
France requires the Angles Morts marking on all buses, coaches and campers on French public roads. The marking must be fitted on both sides: no higher than 150 cm and no lower than 90 cm above the ground, on the side at least 100 cm from the front, and at the rear on the right-hand side. The requirement applies to French and foreign vehicles alike. Driving without valid marking means an on-the-spot fine.
Visibility
The law requires a marking, but sets no requirement for retroreflection. A non-reflective sticker is barely visible during a night-time check or in poor conditions. The AutoXtreme marking uses retroreflective film and meets the highest visibility requirements. TÜV SÜD certified and E8 approved.
