If your car won't start because of a flat battery, you start it yourself with it. You don't need a second car and no jump leads between two bonnets.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eFour names, one device\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBooster pack, jump start aid, battery booster and jump starter are different words for the same thing. What is something else is a battery charger. That charges your battery slowly and does not start your engine. A booster pack does the opposite: it supplies the current to start and does not charge your battery. If you use the Boost Dual 12400, follow the manual of that model.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSwitch the booster pack on (hold the on\/off button for 1.5 seconds) and plug the clamp cable firmly into the jump start port.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePut the red clamp on the positive terminal of your battery, then the black clamp on the negative terminal.
